15 Feb On the Scene: Stevie Boi for NYFW
Saturday, February 13th Stevie Boi debuted his latest collection, Cabin, for NYFW. Different from his previous shows, the Cabin collection was featured runway style in the ultra chic Studio 450. Stevie attributes the inspiration behind his collection to childhood memories as a boy scout and cadet. There is a direct connection between the textures of the show and the vision of the collection.
The runway show was beyond well styled with neutrals, furs, large scarves and accessories. Each pair of sunglasses added personality and individuality to an already chic ensemble. The connection between Stevie’s childhood inspiration is shown through the wooden frames, warm colors and large furs. In watching the runway show I was able to recreate the scene and place myself into a deserted camp setting with fierce sunnies and tall gorgeous boy and girl scouts strutting around.
